Workshop "Faith-based Advocacy and the Arms Trade:

Asia-Pacific Perspectives"

Bangkok Christian Guesthouse 26-27th of January 2012

This two day workshop will be held in cooperation with Christian Conference of Asia in order to promote collaboration and exchange of experiences between representatives from faith communities and faith-based organizations from across the Asia-Pacific region.

The regional relevance of issues related to military expenditure and development, armed violence and human security, and ongoing initiatives for increased arms control such as the Arms Trade Treaty will be explored.

Representatives from 11 different countries from various faith communities will participate.
